Jessner’s peels (“lunchtime peel” or “model’s peel”) are only used for the earliest, finest lines. Phenol peels. including the Baker’s peel and the 88% phenol peels, are employed for the deepest facial lines. In between these, trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peels may be combined with 50%–70% glycolic acid peels. Salicylic acid ointment peels. often combined with Jessner’s solution and dermasanding, can treat severe sun damage on the arms and legs.
