Author Your scalp is extremely vascular, meaning that it contains many blood vessels. Literally millions of platelets(clotting cells) normally move through your scalp each minute. So, how could the removal and subsequent reinjection of these same platelets grow hair when they failed to do so in the first place? Much further research is required to validate the effectiveness of the technique.
