Neck Lift

Sagging neck skin can be caused by a combination of excess fat, loose skin, and platysma (superficial) neck muscles. Less invasive than a full face lift, a neck lift at the Colorado Dermatology Center involves removing the excess fat first by liposuction. The cannulas can be extended up onto the lower cheek to effect some tightening of the skin. In addition, another incision can be made under the chin in order to treat the platysma muscles.
