Follicular unit grafting

Hair transplantation utilizing the FUE, or follicular unit extraction technique, has one major problem: the tiny one millimeter punch often fails to follow the exact angle at which the hair shaft exits the skin. As a result, the hair bulb below the skin is often damaged or transected, and of course these hairs will not grow after reimplantation. The FUE technique can also leave hundreds of small round “shotgun” scars on the back of the scalp. In contrast, the standard and time-honored technique of follicular unit grafting often produces superior results!
