Suspicious Moles

What do I look for during a mole exam?

First is the appearance – in some cases a cancer is obvious at first glance.

Second is the history, or change: bleeding, crusting, itching, enlargement, darkening, uneven borders, pain, or change in texture;

Third is a patient’s sixth sense – sometimes, one has an intuition about an abnormal mole.

Of course, there is no substitute for an examination by a Dermatologist! Please call us at 303-744-1202 for a consultation!
